New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs Tryout Information

The weekend of April 20-22 will be a busy place at the Tri-Town Ice Arena in Hooksett, NH. The NH Jr. Monarchs will be holding tryouts for 5 different teams that fall under the development model. The Eastern Junior Hockey League, Empire Junior Hockey League, Eastern States Hockey League, U-16 EJHL, and U-18 Split Season Platinum Teams will all hold tryouts during that weekend to select players for the upcoming season. Please see the below tryout times for the group you will be attending

The New Hampshire Junior Monarchs are pleased to announce the promotion of Ryan Frew current Head Coach and General Manager of the Jr. Monarchs Empire team, to the same position for the Eastern Junior Hockey League team.

Coaching Staff

Monarchs are pleased to announce the hiring of Associate Head Coaches Kevin Purdy and Jeremy Vega to the newly formed EJHL U-16 Team.  The team will compete as a full-season team in the EJHL 16-Under League and play in approximately 50 games beginning with the 2012-13 campaign. 

Monarchs Unveil Full-Season U-16 Team

The New Hampshire Monarchs are pleased to announce the formation of a full-season U16 Team for the 2012-13 season. The team will be a member of the Eastern Junior Hockey League (EJHL) 16-and-under division. The league was recently unveiled by EJHL Commissioner Bob Mainhardt, and 12-14 teams will participate.

Kyle Williams committs to the University of Maine

New Hampshire Junior Monarchs’ left defenseman Kyle Williams, a native of Bowdoinham, Maine, has committed to the University of Maine Black Bears for the 2012-13 season. After posting 3-10-13 line last year in 36 games, he currently has 4-8-12 in 28 games played so far this season.

FosterFormer Monarchs in the NHL... Panthers Recall G Brian Foster From San Antonio (AHL)

Florida Panthers Executive Vice President & General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has recalled G Brian Foster from the San Antonio Rampage (AHL). Foster, 24, has played for both Cincinnati of the ECHL and San Antonio this season. In 11 games for San Antonio, Foster is 4-6-0, with a 3.55 goals against average and an .888 save percentage. In eight games with Cincinnati, Foster went 7-1-0 with a 2.64 goals against average and a .906 save percentage. The Pembroke, New Hampshire, native was drafted by Florida in the fifth round (161st overall) in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.

Parisi, Pesce Reflect on NTDP Experience

Boston, MA - Though their teams may be bitter rivals on the ice, New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs defenseman Tom Parisi and Jersey Hitmen defenseman Brett Pesce had no problem putting that aside to compete with the USA National Development program this past weekend.
