You are being invited to compete in one of the best tournaments the summer has to offer. This is strictly an invite only tournament and you are being asked to participate on one of the teams I will enter under the Monarchs name. All of our incoming 2011-2012 Jr Monarchs will be placed on one of these teams as well as past players heading to school. Bottom line, these will be very solid hockey teams. Some of the other teams attending are the Junior Bruins, Jersey Hitmen, Beantown Bullies, Endeavor Selects, Walpole Express, and a few more to be named soon. Last year was one of the most competitive tournaments in the Eastern United States.
Every player is either heading to a Division One school, or is a Division One prospect. That is the main purpose of the tournament, to give the elite player the opportunity to play great games instead of the traditional tournament where you play only a couple good games on Sunday. You will also play with talented players from all over getting a unique opportunity to be with players you normally don’t get the chance to in the winter.
The Summer Showdown will take place at the Tri Town Ice Arena in Hooksett, NH (just north of Manchester, NH). Every Hockey East, ECAC, and Atlantic Hockey school will be invited to attend this spectacular showcase. Also, all Division Three schools will be invited, as well as the NHL.
You must send back your application and check no later than May 9th to reserve your spot in this prestigious event. Team rosters and schedule will be posted on our website by May 27, 2011at
