Pat
Knowlton Earns
EJHL Player of the Week Honors
EJHL rookie Pat Knowlton put together the kind of weekend all
young players dream of. Pat was an offensive force in both games
over the weekend, scoring 3 goals and assisting on 5 others, helping
the Monarchs distance themselves from the rest of the EJHL pack.
Pat figured in on 5 of the Monarchs 7 goals against the Valley
Junior Warriors contributing a 1-4-5 line in a 7-1 Monarch victory
at Tri-Town Ice Arena in Hooksett N.H. The next day Pat picked
up right where he left of scoring 2 goals and assisting on another,
this time against the Boston Harbor Wolves; in a game that would
end in a decisive 8-1 Monarch win.
Associate Head Coach Bob Corkum had this to say about the weekend
Pat had. "Pat was snake bitten early in the year. He was
generating plenty of scoring chances during those games, but just
could not find the net. It is nice to see all of his hard work
in practice paying off. Pat comes to the rink everyday with a
workman's attitude and desire to become a better hockey player.
We as a coaching staff are expecting more of the same from Pat
down the home stretch and into playoffs."
-Pat is the son of Jim and Corey Knowlton of West Point, N.Y.
