Monarchs Win Streak Hits Eight Games
Hooksett, NH - The New Hampshire Monarchs used four third-period goals to break a 1-1 tie with the Valley Jr Warriors and walk away with a 5-2 victory. The gutsy effort by the boys from NH continued their win streak and allowed them their sixth win in only eleven days. “I am impressed with their work ethic despite being fatigued,” stated GM/Head Coach Sean Tremblay. “They are showing the power the mind has over the body with the way they are competing right now. I am very proud of their efforts and accomplishments”
Brian Flynn was the big scorer on the day with a natural hat trick as he scored the Monarchs first three goals and also assisted on the fourth. Greg Burke added a goal along with two assists. Jeff Velleca added three helpers, and Adam Kaiser notched the final tally of the game with Ben Ketchum assisting on the play. Justin Gates stopped 26 of 28 and was solid as usual in net for the Monarchs.
